Haier Xpression
1. Eligibility
- The contest is open to all Indian residents aged 18 years and above.
- Participants must be graffiti or visual artists (individual entries only; no group
submissions).
- No entry fee is required for participation.
- Employees, affiliates, or immediate family members of Haier India and its partner agencies
are not eligible to participate.
2. How to Participate
- Artists must register online through the official Haier Xpression
registration link or by scanning the QR code provided by Haier India.
- Artists get the opportunity to showcase their designs on a Haier Refrigerator and Air
Conditioner.
- For a submission to be considered valid, participants must compulsorily upload design
entries for both the Haier Refrigerator and Haier AC models. The reference images and size
specifications for each appliance are available on the Haier Xpression registration website.
- Participants may submit different designs for each appliance; the two designs are not
required to match or follow the same visual style.
- Upon completion of registration period and commencement of the competition, participants
must share their original graffiti artwork digitally on Instagram using the official
campaign hashtag #HaierXpression and tag @haierindia.
- Entries must be submitted within the official contest period announced by Haier. Late or
incomplete entries will not be accepted.
- Contest Timeline: The last date for registration is 28th November, and all
artwork submissions must be completed by 6th December.
3. Artwork Guidelines
- All entries must be the participant's original creation.
- Each participant may use a maximum of 15 colours in their digital submission, as well as in the final artwork created during the on-ground event if they are shortlisted.
- Digital submissions will be used solely for the shortlisting process. Participants who qualify for the main event may create an entirely new artwork, provided it adheres to the established artwork guidelines.
- Artwork must not contain any offensive, obscene, political, or religious imagery or
messaging.
- Use of copyrighted material, brand logos, or third-party designs is strictly prohibited.
- Haier reserves the right to reject, remove, or disqualify any entry that violates these
guidelines or does not align with brand values.
4. Selection & Reward
- A panel appointed by Haier India will review all valid entries.
- The winning design will be brought to life on an actual Haier Refrigerator and Air
Conditioner and showcased as part of the Haier Xpression activation.
- The winner may also be featured across Haier India's marketing and social media channels, or
invited to participate in on-ground or digital content related to the campaign.
- The jury's decision will be final and binding on all participants.
5. Ownership & Usage Rights
- The artist retains ownership of their original artwork.
- By participating, the artist grants Haier India a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide
license to use, reproduce, display, and adapt the artwork for promotional, marketing, and
event-related purposes, in any format or media.
- Any physical or digital recreation of the artwork will duly credit the original artist.
6. Data Privacy
- By registering, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information
for the purpose of contest administration and communication by Haier India.
- Personal data will not be shared with third parties except as required for contest
management or legal compliance.
- Participants may request deletion of their personal data after the contest ends by
contacting Haier India.
7. Disqualification
- Haier India reserves the right to disqualify any participant who is found to be tampering
with the entry process, violating these terms, or submitting false or misleading
information.
- Automated entries, multiple registrations by the same individual, or entries from fake
accounts will not be accepted.
8. Liability
- Haier India will not be responsible for technical errors, network issues, or any other
problems beyond its control that may affect participation or submission.
- Haier India will not be liable for any claims, losses, or damages arising out of
participation in the contest or use of the prize.
- Participation in the contest constitutes acceptance of all terms and an agreement to abide
by the jury's and organizer's decisions.
9. Changes & Cancellation
- Haier India reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest at any time without
prior notice if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary to do so.
- Any updates or changes to these terms will be posted on the official contest website.
